Shahrukh Khan reacts

Controversy continues to surround King Khan these days. His jokes at the Filmfare Awards aimed at Amar Singh offended the Samajhwadi Party leader who lashed back saying he wanted to humiliate SRK publicly. Later, a protest was demonstrated by members of his party outside SRK's house. Initially quiet on the matter, the protest got SRK up in fury. According to him, his daughter, Suhana who was at home at the time, got extremely traumatized by the demonstrations. Shahrukh and Gauri weren't home at the time and there was no one to console the little girl. In a recent interview, SRK said, "I had to cancel my shoot and rush home four hours early because my six-and-a-half-year old daughter (Suhana) was crying. People were screaming and shouting outside my house. Come on, it's a joke and one should not try to make it more serious. There are a lot more serious issues that the association of 20 people who came to my house can look into rather than scare my daughter. I take that very personally. And I am not even the kind of guy who expects an apology for this. It depends how I feel the next time. Just remember, I am a demented Pathan." Furthermore SRK said, "It could be because
elections were on, the publicity factor, whatever, so they did it at my cost. It's okay. I am a public figure. People use me for everything. You can use me too. But don't bring people to my house knowing fully well that my kids are alone. I don't like that." We agree with the Pathan Khan. It's common knowledge that those who sit in the front row always face more jokes than anyone else and in future Amar Singh should opt for less obvious seats! As they say, if you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

Bachchans planning a bigger wedding

The wedding extravaganza of Liz Hurley and Arun Nayar has indeed set the bar very high for the Bachchans. Competitive to the core, they are probably back to the drawing board as far as wedding plans are concerned – the Abhi-Ash wedding just has to be more extravagant and certainly more high profile. According to reports, it is being planned to be the greatest marriage in India's modern history and could be as big as that of Prince Charles and Princess Diana – or bigger. The ceremony is set to be held over 10 days in a private estate on the outskirts of Mumbai and a palace in Rajasthan (Umaid Bhavan Palace has been dropped since Arun and Liz beat them to it). The guest list is expected to exceed 5,000 and helicopters will be hired to shower petals over the reception. Totally filmy to the core, it will be a media frenzy as the Bachchan family being the nationalists that they are, will probably NOT sell coverage rights to Hello! Magazine. When will it take place? Well the great Swami reportedly is getting fidgety in his lungi as the

dates he announced as 'blessed' are fast passing over. The delay, other than Ash and Abhi being too busy with filming dates seems to be Sandeep Khosla (of the fashion duo Abu-Sandeep) who has been hospitalized with a pancreas ailment. Since Abu-Sandeep have always designed for the Bachchan clan, they are waiting for him to recover for the proceedings to begin. We're more interested to know whether Shahrukh Khan will be invited to the wedding or not!

Saif and Rosa call it off

Saif Ali Khan and Rosa have finally called off their relationship after three years of much publicized courtship. Although both Saif and Rosa have not revealed the reason behind this break-up, grapevine has it that problems developed between the couple after Rosa expressed her desire to work in the "glam world". Before the two broke up, it was reported that Rosa was planning to host a style-based show. On the other hand, there are rumours that Rosa was uncomfortable with the fact that Saif and Amrita Singh – his ex-wife – had become good friends. Speaking on the break-up, Saif Ali Khan said, "I can't pretend that Rosa's going hasn't added to recent setbacks, but it's for the best I guess." The heartbreak following the heart attack may be another setback for Saif personally, but his female fans are once again delighted at his unattached status. All eyes will be on the young Khan to see who he hooks up with next...

Angelina Jolie adopts Vietnamese boy

The rainbow family of super mom Angelina Jolie and beau Brad Pitt just got bigger as Angie has officially adopted a Vietnamese boy, Pax Thien Jolie. The three and a half year old boy, described as shy in demeanour was adopted from the Ho Chi Minh City orphanage. In a recent interview with a Vietnamese paper, Angelina Jolie said, "Everyone would agree that children need to have a family. I have the ability to help children fulfill that desire. Why should I say no?'' Angelina arrived in Vietnam with her oldest son Maddox and was constantly hounded by media and photographers. "Photographs and press coverage will make him upset. I'm very worried about that. I would like to say I'm sorry for bringing this into Pax's life," Jolie was quoted saying to a newspaper. Angelina's other kids include, Cambodian son Maddox, 5, Ethiopian daughter Zahara, 2 and her biological daughter Shiloh who is 10 months old. Currently, the super mom has decided to take time off from work to be with Pax, whose name means peaceful sky. We agree with Jolie. Every kid has a right to family so here's to the new member in the Brangelina clan!
