No, unless the Taliban are involved.

I hope so.

The Bonn agreement is not power sharing and thus would not lead to peace.

I don’t think it will work out.

I am not quite sure.

This is just an American drama and nothing else.

If the government is representing everyone in the country, the plan will succeed.

Yes, if they are serious for bringing peace and their intentions are true.

I certainly think ‘No’. The only solution for Afghan problem was, is and will be Taliban regime again.

We can't really predict conclusions so early. However it might be so in proceeding years.

In my opinion, the Bonn conference was a high-level American conspiracy to set up a puppet regime in Afghanistan. It lacks support of the common masses especially the Pushtun community. History has taught us that anything imposed by force does not sustain long.

It is too early to say anything.

Yes, I think so.

The past record of power hungry Afghan leaders is quite tricky. If the US and the international community will keep on pressurising the Afghan leaders, the Bonn accord may be successful.

The only thing Americans want to achieve in Afghanistan is the government which
favours them.

Yes, being the first step in moving towards peace, it will eventually result in a peaceful country acceptable for its own people and the international community.
Farhan Khan

Yes, if terrorists are brought to justice. An enforced peace-accord would bring economic stability.

This so-called agreement will definitely not work productively.

Afghanistan will remain devoid of peace due to the their psyche.

I don't think the power sharing will last that long.

I don’t think so. This will only cause long-lasting civil war in Afghanistan of which the impact will be nothing but devastating for whole South Asia.

I am not quite sure.

The Afghan groups who would be sharing power in Afghanistan are a temporary solution for the Afghan people. The interim government in Afghanistan should pave the way for the democratic process, and this can only be achieved by holding general elections in Afghanistan.

For achieving a durable peace, the government in Afghanistan should be represented by people representing all factions on the basis of equality.

It is good they will have no claim that the politicians are worth their name.

After 22 years of turmoil, I believe it is the only opportunity for Afghans and their Afghanistan to get back on track. It is the best available opportune time and I am happy that at least Afghans have taken the very first step required to toddle into this direction.

It looks very difficult until the Northern Alliance take control over Afghanistan.

This agreed establishment may not be able to bring peace and stability to the country but this will certainly pave a way towards the betterment of Afghanistan.

Keeping in mind their past history, it is very hard to expect miracles from them.

I personally believe that Bonn accord will usher in durable peace in Afghanistan provided US forces stay in Afghanistan for a considerably longer period of time.

I'm sceptical about it.

I think its premature to decide whether this accord will work out or not, as of yet. Looking at the past gives us the clear-cut hint that it won't, but there is always hope and this time international community is also involved in the peace process regardless of their true intentions.

No, I don’t think so.

Yes, provided the terrorists are kept out.

No, it would not as it is just a cosmetic-like arrangement imposed by the US and
its allies.
Israr Kasana

It’s doubtful.

I think the power sharing agreement reached recently in Bonn is likely to create a lasting peace in Afghanistan
