It is the time of action. Mahathir Mohammad has opened the eyes of all Muslims. We must learn Science & Technology.

Jews are the main proxy since Islam came into existence. We have to unite under one leadership. We have to keep our own Islamic World Organization. All the Muslim countries must have to contribute 2% of their total income to this IWO.

This amount is to be used on research, science and technology. All the Muslim countries should make trade with each other. Unless, the Muslims have not more modern weapons than the non Muslims would ridiculously repeat a recently ‘framed’ proverb “All the Muslims are not terrorist but all the terrorists are Muslims.”

I think the words of Mahathir Mohammed are eye opener for Muslims around the world who have become so ignorant of the fact that unless we Muslims unite, we would either become extinct or be forced to live a life according to the ways as dictated to us by Jews and infidels.

I appreciate Mr. Mahathir's remarks linked to Jews. Now we have to think can how we adopt world's new economy and compete against any trading forces.

Mr. Mahathir is not only a great Malaysian but he is also a great Muslim. His remarks about Jews are certainly.

We should talk less and do more, get organized and united first. Emotional speeches won't help us out. Learn from other dominating forces and history.

I think it was an outstanding speech. Other than the part about Jews that has now become controversial, it also contained a very realistic analysis of Muslim world.

Mahathir Mohammed is right but truth is bitter and Western society does not like to hear the truth from such a Muslim leader.

Mian Khurshid

Truth needs to be identified and said. Equally it has to be translated into action with strong conviction. Mahathir Muhammad has risen above the rest and spoke what many hesitate to state due to inherent deficiencies in their structures.

The Muslim people have faced many adverse times in history before but have never subdued to anyone . Righteous are being ridiculed, oppressors are being admitted as victims. Fancy words in compliance to submission to shield so-called national pride is only a short term escape from the reality.

Mahathir Mohammad is right when he claims about the "Jews ruling the world" and also that we must fight them with brain and brawn. I myself is very impressed of the development of Jew's economy power and wish we Muslim could study them (Jews) closely about how could they (Jews) achieve so big goals. The first thing is unity which is the most important for Muslims to achieve and for this they have to compromise on their differences. Second they must forget that they are 1.3 billion, they need to think that they are alone in the world and no one is going to help them in any difficult situation. They need to educate their next generations properly to compete the rest of the world. Saleem Chaudhary.

I think that Mahathir Mohammed was right saying that we cannot defeat our enemies by guns alone. We have to educate ourselves and excel in all fields. Unfortunately most of the Muslim countries do not have sincere leaders such as Mahathir to guide and lead them on the right path.

A good education system will improve the overall state of the nation and enhance its prosperity. It will also enable us to have a clean and corrupt free leadership because people will vote on policies and manifestoes rather than empty promises and sick rhetoric. Maybe, this is why our leaders do not pay due attention to the state of our education system.

Unless the winds of Rule Of Law blow across the Muslim World, there will be a continued being faced by accusations like on them and the non-Muslims would ridiculously repeat a recently 'framed' proverb "All the Muslims are not terrorist but all the terrorists are Muslims."

I think Mr. Mahathir is very arrogant and rude and racist. The world is already burning in the fire of racism.

His comments are not worth any applause. They are condemnable.

I totally agree with him. We have ignored our religion and do not follow it properly. We say we should fight our enemies but we cannot because we do not have the means.

As Mr. Mahathir said during OIC meeting that we should use our brains that is a very clever idea we should follow it.

I admire the courage of Mr. Mahathir Mohammed.

Mahathir Muhammad said it right !!!

We (Muslims) have to re-learn Islam and refresh our faith. We do not need to hate anyone but to understand and act accordingly.

There cannot be two opinions on Dr. Mahathir's ideas. If the Muslims have realised that they are being oppressed because of lagging behind the other nations, they need make progress to defend themselves and defeat those who are oppressing them.

Mukhtar Ali Naqvi

I endorse opinion by Mr. Syed Mateen in the forum, saying that that Muslim nations over the world need leaders like Dr. Mahathir.

I am also confident and quite proud to proclaim that we too have such a brave and wise leader like President Musharraf who is guiding us to the modern enlightening era, whereas a few years ago the whole infrastructure was being torn apart in every aspect of here in this country by corrupt and malefactors and looters.

One the other hand, Mr. Mahathir is right saying that the Jews, with smaller majority in this world have managed to rule the world by the means of self-created ideologies such as democracy, communism and proxy.

The Muslims have abundant resources and capacity on their part to function under such a cohesively unified body for their own benefits and interests. There is only lack of a strong leadership to to lead other leaders of the Muslim countries towards development-oriented management for the betterment of their people and lands too.

It is a fact that Jews are ruling the world today by proxy. In the USA, the biggest and mightiest power on earth, the Jews are behind all major policy matters and in particular when it is concerning Muslims. The same is the situation elsewhere in Europe and other non-Muslim states.

That being the case, Muslims need unity amongst themselves. The Organization of Islamic with 52 members is an organization on papers only. You can't give example of a single Muslim country where wishes of the masses are taken into account. Dictators, kings, Sheiks and others are misusing the massive wealth Allah has bestowed upon the Muslims. The Muslims’ riches are deposited in Jewish financial institutions and Jews make use of that money by killing million of Muslims everywhere in the world. What a shame! Unless we are united, we've a democratic setup, observe human rights, solve people's issues, have fear of Allah, stop polishing shoes of mighty powers, nothing will change.

We do have brains but are being used for others. The Muslim nations should be united under the umbrella of OIC and try to invest in science and technology, try to protect our interests, seek Allah's guidance, try to implement Allah's rule of justice, protect others rights, live in peaceful manner and spread the message of Allah and Allah's Oneness to the whole world in a peaceful and decent manner, things will change and change for better. Jews conspiracy against decent humanity including Muslims will fail if we do what Allah wants us to do. May Allah protect us and show us the right path towards following His commandants and the traditions of His Prophet Muhammad (
A) and serve the humanity.

I am an Indian, and have worked in Malaysia for a couple of years. I have listened to and read many of Mr. Mhathir's lectures. Having said that let me assure you he is an exception proving the rule. Islamic countries everywhere are at the peak of backwardness.

What the Islamic world really needs is a Raja Ram Mohan Roy. Unless it breaks out of the "shackles of religion" as Europe did many centuries ago, no progress is possible. It is either theocratic stagnation or secular liberation and progress.

Dr Mahathir's statement on Jews is absolutely correct. Muslim world should follow his instructions.

Over one billion Muslims in 57 countries of the world have wealth, resources, skills and human power. Through all these components Muslims can acquire any kind of modern technology of the world.

But the problem is that we live in arrogance and complacency. Our every quality is dumped under the ocean because of our limitless greed and dishonesty in our daily life. Temporal things and we running behind mundanely.

Instead of being practical, productive and focused, we live by slogans and corny life style. Every single living life and thing has a reason of its existence. If you take out its specific characteristic, it is a trash. Forget being Muslims; we have even boorishly failed as humans too and forgotten the basic reason of our existence as to why God created us?

First we have to explore inside ourselves, our conscience then we can conquer the world. We have to cast off our habit of being 'cheer leader' on the ground instead being a real player.

Mahathir Mohammad is the real heart of Muslim Ummah. Every Muslim should think like him. We are lacking in technology.

But the most important thing that is the need of the time is unity.

The whole Muslim nation fully endorses the views expressed by Mahathir Muhammad except a handful of
selfish ruling and elite class people in Muslim countries who have opted to serve their personal
worldly interests and pursued the interests of their foreign masters in the Jewish and Christian world
against the overall welfare and interests of large masses of their respective country and interests of the Muslim
nation at large.

There cannot be unity unless rulers in the Muslim nation pursue common goals for the welfare of all
Muslims and humanity at large according to the teachings and practices of our holy prophet (PBUH) and
believe that their welfare lies in the overall welfare of the nation.

I agree with Mahathir Mohammad. We need again someone like Shah Faisal who can try sincerely to unite Muslim nations on one platform. I believe Muslim can do anything, as they are sincere to their religion not to America.

I surely agree with Mahathir and his opinion but I would like to stress that we should analyse our own deeds.

My experience of the western culture has taught me a lot. Survival is everyone's first priority and if west uses our natural reserves to take cheap oils that run their factories, I don't think its anything wrong on their part. Its the shame for us being in a situation that let others take advantage of us.

Once the Muslims have the share of their own brains to control and rule themselves then every thing will change. Whatever will be the outcome we will be responsible and that outcome of which we would be proud of.

I thinks he must have expressed his this view without being politically incorrect. He lacks PR skills and should have made the point with more fineness. We have to better ourselves without being envious of others and I don't think Islam preaches that.

It was the duty of other OIC members to correct his statement as it harms the image of Muslim leaders and nations around the world.

I wish that Pakistan should have a person like Mahathir Mohammed to serve the nation.

Muslims do have brain but does not have the technology, otherwise, one of the Muslims would have been the first person to land on the moon. Under the present changing global scenario, all Muslims must unite under one umbrella and acquire the latest technology, so that Muslims should defeat the Jewish lobby in whatever shape it is presented in the world.

Retirement of Mahathir Mohammad from world's politics will create a vacuum for Muslim nations in the world. The Muslims should try to find a similar Mahathir Mohammad to lead Muslims in the world.
